Celebrating Brave Curiosity

One thing I love about being around young children is their natural ability to embrace new experiences without inhibition. Their youthful curiosity inspires us to explore new places, try new things, meet new people, and discover new practices. Through curious exploration, fresh insights and new questions emerge.

In the spirit of fostering community, curiosity, and fun, we’re excited to introduce our Third Thursday Series, which will kick off on March 20th at 6 PM with a Tai Chi session. On the third Thursday of each month, we’ll offer a unique opportunity to have fun, meet new friends, and experience something outside your usual routine.

If you’re unfamiliar with Tai Chi, Harvard Health describes it as a “gentle form of exercise that can help maintain strength, flexibility, and balance—and could be the perfect activity for the rest of your life.” Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or someone hearing about Tai Chi for the first time, this program is for you!

Don’t worry about making mistakes—The Threshold Center is a judgment-free zone, and we celebrate brave curiosity. No special attire is required, but you might find it more comfortable to wear clothing that allows movement. And if you’re coming straight from work and don’t have time to change—come as you are! We’re just thrilled to have you join us.

There’s no registration fee, though donations will be gratefully accepted. While registration is not required, if you’d like to let us know you’re coming, you can do so here.

Celebrating our brave and curious hearts,

Mary Bea Sullivan
